The Florida Panthers have reduced its training camp roster down to 30 players.

Forwards Josh Davies and Kai Schwindt, defenseman Mikulas Hovorka and goaltender Cooper Black have been assigned to the club’s AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Yesterday, forwards Rasmus Asplund and Zac Dalpe and defensemen Tobias Bjornfot and Jaycob Megna were placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to Charlotte.

We’ll have to wait until this afternoon to see any of the quartet are claimed by other NHL teams.
