Stark County high school football scores, Ohio playoff games

After the 10-week OHSAA regular season, the Ohio high school football playoffs began tonight, with 10 Stark County-teams and several other from the area playing in Round 1. Parker Kraft put together a playoff performance for the ages. He rushed for 415 yards and five touchdowns to lead Northwest to its 36-30 win over visiting Orange. See video below of the second of Kraft's TD runs.

Ohio high school football's 10-game regular season leads up to the Ohio High School Athletic Association state playoffs in November — and ultimately, the OHSAA state championship games. The state finals are Dec. 5-7 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton — the fourth straight year all of the titles are being played there.
